Your information
Bloomgrove privacy
Your garden is local by default. You choose the optional services and the information you share.

Your garden records
Bloomgrove stores your plants, garden details, photographs, journal observations, care records, chosen check-ins and unfinished drafts on your device. The core garden journal works offline. You do not create a Bloomgrove account, and Bloomgrove does not operate a hosted garden-record or AI service.
Unfinished drafts and local recovery points can retain copies of information. Archiving keeps history. Deleting a plant can keep its history if you leave that option enabled; deleting without history removes its records and owned photos from the current garden after a successful save. Previously exported backups, recovery copies and copies on other devices are separate.
Optional iCloud and exports
If you enable iCloud backup or sync, Bloomgrove transfers garden backup data through Apple’s iCloud services using your Apple Account. This can include the photos and records in the garden. Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply to its services.
A backup export contains garden records and app-stored photographs. Readable reports can include the records and photos you select. When you share, save, print or transfer an export, the destination you choose receives that information. Keep backups private and protected.
Photos, notifications and Apple system features
You choose which photos to add or capture. Bloomgrove uses system photo, camera and notification permissions when needed. Notifications use the check-ins you choose; permission and delivery are managed by the operating system.
Optional Spotlight indexing makes plant names, botanical names and garden areas available to private system search. Journal text and photos are not included in that index. Widget settings control whether names and check-in titles may be shown outside the app, including on the Lock Screen. Turning names off uses counts; existing system previews may remain until the operating system refreshes them.
Siri, Shortcuts, widgets, controls and Calendar use Apple’s system services and your chosen settings. Opening an action in Bloomgrove does not by itself save a new journal record. Calendar export presents a system review before you choose to save.
Optional assistance and web content
Apple Intelligence assistance runs on eligible devices. Bloomgrove does not send the garden to a hosted model or fall back to a cloud model. Availability varies by feature, device and OS; suggestions need your review and can be wrong. Manual recording does not require assistance.
If you start a Google lookup, Google receives the search terms or photo you choose for that lookup. Each lookup uses a fresh browsing session, but Google may retain searches according to its privacy policy. Reading a publisher’s reference page also contacts that publisher, whose own privacy practices apply.
Optional Visual Intelligence photo matching compares against recent garden photos on the device. You can manage this option in Settings.
Purchases and diagnostics
Lifetime purchases, restores and offer-code redemption use Apple’s StoreKit services. Apple handles payment information. Bloomgrove checks verified purchase access; it does not receive your full payment-card details. Access saved for an existing garden is distinct from a verified purchase.
Bloomgrove includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. Apple may process App Store, TestFlight or operating-system diagnostics according to your Apple settings and its policies.
Collage Studio and sharing
Collage editing and rendering happen locally. A local draft stores composition choices; your original garden photos stay unchanged. Finished images can include the photographs, titles, names, dates, captions and signatures you choose. Native sharing, Save to Photos and Copy image send or copy those pixels to the destination you select. A caption you copy goes to the system clipboard. Other apps and services handle content under their own policies.
This website and support
The Bloomgrove pages use locally served images and fonts and a small local script for the screen selector. They have no sign-in, contact form, advertising tracker or analytics script. The hosting service receives ordinary request information to deliver the pages. Incoming creator or campaign parameters can remain in links as you navigate this site; this script does not store or report them. See the Around Find Out website privacy notice for parent-brand website and support practices.
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send. Avoid sending a backup or private photographs unless they are needed and you are comfortable sharing them. For questions, email support@aroundfindout.com.
